If you are using our Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Account Terms

Account Creation and Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide.

Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.

3. Subscription & Payments

Billing

If you purchase a subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your subscription plan. Payments are processed through Stripe and subject to their terms. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current and accurate.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for unused portions of your subscription unless required by law.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use of our Service after price changes constitutes acceptance of the new prices.

4. Intellectual Property

CareerGraph Content

All content on CareerGraph, including text, graphics, logos, images, templates, and software, is the property of CareerGraph or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without our prior written consent.

User Content License

When you upload your resume, cover letter, or other content to CareerGraph, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display that content to provide our Service. You retain all ownership rights to your content.

Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use CareerGraph solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to gain access to the source code of our Service.

5. AI-Generated Content

AI Assistance

CareerGraph uses artificial intelligence to provide suggestions, content improvements, and template recommendations. While our AI is trained to provide helpful guidance, you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it.

No Liability for AI Suggestions

You understand and acknowledge that AI-generated content is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated suggestions. You are solely responsible for the content of your final resume and cover letter.

Content Verification

You agree to verify that all content in your resume is accurate and truthful. You accept full responsibility for the accuracy and authenticity of all information presented in your resume.

6. AI Job Matching and Autopilot

CareerGraph's AI job matching and Autopilot features identify relevant job postings and generate cover letters on your behalf. These features do not submit applications to employers. No application is submitted, and no communication is sent to any employer on your behalf without your explicit action. You are solely responsible for reviewing and submitting any application generated by these tools.

Job listings displayed on CareerGraph are sourced from third-party feeds and APIs. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing. Always verify job details directly with the employer before applying.

7. LinkedIn Import

CareerGraph's LinkedIn import feature works by paste only. We do not connect to LinkedIn's servers, scrape LinkedIn pages, or access your LinkedIn account. You must manually copy the text from your LinkedIn profile and paste it into the provided field. We are not affiliated with LinkedIn Corporation.

8. Third-Party AI Processing

Resume content, cover letter text, and elevator pitch data you submit through AI features is processed by OpenAI, L.L.C. ("OpenAI") via their API. By using these features, you acknowledge that your content will be transmitted to and processed by OpenAI subject to their terms of service and privacy policy. We do not use your data to train AI models. Sensitive personal information should be reviewed before submission.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use CareerGraph for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:

Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Use the Service to harass, threaten, or abuse others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the functionality of our Service
Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
Engage in spam, phishing, or fraudulent activities
Scrape or automate access to our Service without permission
Resell, redistribute, or sublicense our Service

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our Service immediately, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach any provision of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access our Service ceases immediately.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

CareerGraph is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerGraph shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of our Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on our website. Your continued use of CareerGraph following the posting of modified Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
