These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CareerGraph ("Service") accessed through www.careergraph.co. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using CareerGraph, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. You agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you are using our Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Account Terms
Account Creation and Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide.
Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
3. Subscription & Payments
Billing
If you purchase a subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your subscription plan. Payments are processed through Stripe and subject to their terms. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current and accurate.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for unused portions of your subscription unless required by law.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use of our Service after price changes constitutes acceptance of the new prices.
4. Intellectual Property
CareerGraph Content
All content on CareerGraph, including text, graphics, logos, images, templates, and software, is the property of CareerGraph or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without our prior written consent.
User Content License
When you upload your resume, cover letter, or other content to CareerGraph, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display that content to provide our Service. You retain all ownership rights to your content.
Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use CareerGraph solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to gain access to the source code of our Service.
5. AI-Generated Content
AI Assistance
CareerGraph uses artificial intelligence to provide suggestions, content improvements, and template recommendations. While our AI is trained to provide helpful guidance, you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it.
No Liability for AI Suggestions
You understand and acknowledge that AI-generated content is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated suggestions. You are solely responsible for the content of your final resume and cover letter.
Content Verification
You agree to verify that all content in your resume is accurate and truthful. You accept full responsibility for the accuracy and authenticity of all information presented in your resume.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use CareerGraph for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or abuse others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the functionality of our Service
- Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
- Engage in spam, phishing, or fraudulent activities
- Scrape or automate access to our Service without permission
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense our Service
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our Service immediately, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach any provision of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access our Service ceases immediately.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
CareerGraph is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerGraph shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of our Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on our website. Your continued use of CareerGraph following the posting of modified Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
