A New Way to Screen Candidates at Scale
We are excited to announce async video interviews in CareerGraph. This feature lets candidates record their responses on their own schedule, and lets your hiring team review scored responses at any time - no scheduling required.
How It Works
For candidates:
1. They receive a link to your interview, valid for 24 to 72 hours (configurable)
2. They read each question, use the preparation window (1 to 5 minutes per question), and record their response
3. They can pause and resume across multiple sessions
4. When finished, their responses are submitted for review
For hiring teams:
1. Your AI-powered interview runs automatically, no interviewer present
2. Responses are scored against your competency rubric
3. Hiring managers review a scored summary with video clips
4. You can comment, flag, and share responses with team members via Team Notes
When to Use Async Video
Async video interviews work best for:
- High-volume screening. When you receive 50 to 500 applications for a role and need to evaluate more candidates than your team can phone-screen.
- Multi-timezone hiring. Eliminate the scheduling overhead of coordinating across time zones.
- Standardized early-stage assessment. Ensure every candidate for a role answers the same questions before advancing to live interviews.
- Roles with clear behavioral competencies. Customer service, sales, support, and many individual contributor roles where communication and problem-solving can be assessed from structured responses.

Getting Started
Async video interviews are available on all CareerGraph Enterprise plans. To enable it for your organization, go to Enterprise Dashboard > Interview Settings > Async Mode and toggle it on.
